Faith Jar is a Bible verse companion app operated by OSWALDOM PTE. LTD. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
Information we collect
Faith Jar does not require an account, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.
On-device information
Some information stays on your device, including saved verses, app settings, onboarding completion, session count, notification time preference, and the optional name you enter for in-app personalization.
Onboarding answers
During onboarding, Faith Jar may ask how you are feeling, how often you feel that way, how long it has been going on, how intense it feels, and what helps you cope. We use these answers to personalize the app and to understand our audience in analytics. Your optional name is not sent to analytics or advertising partners.
Usage, attribution, and subscription data
We collect app usage events such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, onboarding progress, paywall activity, trial starts, subscription events, crash data, performance data, permission choices, and install attribution such as campaign or media source. These events may be connected to app, device, vendor, or analytics identifiers.
We may use session replay or similar diagnostics to understand app issues and improve the experience. Replays and diagnostics are used for product improvement, not to collect payment details.
How we use information
- To run Faith Jar and personalize verses, reflections, and prayers.
- To remember saved verses, settings, and notification preferences.
- To understand which features work and where users get stuck.
- To process trials, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
- To measure app installs and advertising performance.
Faith Jar is not a medical or mental health product. The onboarding questions are used for spiritual content personalization and product analytics, not diagnosis, treatment, or medical monitoring.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send onboarding quiz answers or your optional name to Meta, AppsFlyer, or other ad partners for ad targeting.

Tracking choices
Faith Jar may ask for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. If you allow tracking, we may use Apple's advertising identifier to measure installs and advertising performance. If you ask the app not to track, we do not use that identifier for tracking. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings.
Data retention
On-device data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall Faith Jar. PostHog product analytics events are retained for 1 year on our current plan. AppsFlyer attribution data is retained according to AppsFlyer's policies, generally up to 24 months for end-user data. Subscription and payment records are handled by Apple and our subscription providers according to their policies.
Children
Faith Jar is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, contact us and we will help.

We use standard technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. Payments are handled by Apple; Faith Jar does not receive your card number or Apple ID password.

You can delete the app to remove local app data from your device. You can manage notifications and tracking permission in iOS Settings. You can also email us to ask about your data or request deletion where available.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you can email us to exercise your GDPR rights, including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your personal data.
